Agarwal Pharmaceuticals was founded in 1994 by Ashwani Kumar Gupta in the heart of Vishwas Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi. The business began with a singular mission — supplying insulin directly to diabetic patients in the local community.
Our very first direct company partnership was with Boots Pharmaceuticals — one of India's foremost insulin manufacturers at the time, which later became Knoll Pharmaceuticals and is today known as Abbott India. A legacy we are proud to have been part of from day one.
Over three decades, what started as insulin-only supply has grown into a full-spectrum diabetes medicine operation — with direct partnerships with 9 of India's leading pharmaceutical companies.
Today the business is led jointly by Ashwani Kumar Gupta and his son Kushal Gupta — a family committed to ensuring no diabetic patient in Delhi ever goes without their medicine.
